This policy describes how personal data is processed when you visit bashkim.ch or contact us.

2. Website visits and hosting

The website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. When you visit the website, your browser sends technical information to the hosting provider, including your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, and information about your browser and operating system. Depending on your browser, information about the page you visited previously may also be transmitted.

This information may be stored in technical logs. It is used to deliver the website, maintain security and troubleshoot errors. Retention follows the hosting provider’s operational and security requirements; we do not set a separate log retention period for this Starter hosting service. 3. Email contact and forwarding

Clicking the email address opens your configured email application. The data in your message is transmitted only when you send it. We process your email address, your name if provided, and the content and attachments of your message to respond to your enquiry and communicate with you.

Messages sent to contact@bashkim.ch are forwarded through Infomaniak to Bashkim Shala’s Hotmail mailbox at Microsoft. Infomaniak and Microsoft process the data required to deliver and store messages, maintain security and provide their email services.

Microsoft may also process data outside Switzerland, particularly in the United States and other countries where it operates. Microsoft cites safeguards including standard contractual clauses and its participation in the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Information about countries, safeguards and processing by Outlook/Hotmail is available in Microsoft’s privacy statement.

4. No visitor analytics or advertising

This website does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or other integrated visitor analytics services. The website code does not set cookies or store visitor data in Local Storage. Photos, photobook scripts and the portfolio PDF are loaded from our own hosting. No external fonts, social media widgets or videos are embedded.

5. Purposes and retention

We process personal data to operate and protect the website, respond to enquiries and, where applicable, prepare and carry out a collaboration. We retain personal correspondence only for as long as necessary for these purposes, to meet statutory retention obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable data protection law, you may request information about the processing of your personal data, as well as its correction or deletion. Further rights, such as data access in a portable format or data transfer, apply where the legal requirements are met. Statutory retention obligations or other legally protected interests may prevent deletion.
